A brilliantly creative blast from the past. Manhattan is being taken over by video games from the 80’s. Watch and be amazed.
Yet, although the execution is great, it does remind us of Röyksopp’s “Happy Up Here”… Probably, the best thing to do is to watch them both at the same time.
The video below is part of a new campaign from Sussex Safer Roads Partnership, entitled Embrace Life. Instead of using shocking and bloody images of accidents, this commercial tries to evoke an emotional response in its viewers in order to promote the use of safety belts. And I must say, this combination of music, facial expressions, bare body parts and slow-mo makes it very effective.
Stunning visuals are brought to us by freelance designer Murat Pak. The video below, titled MASNAVI, is also displayed at the previously mentioned, new exhibition from international art collective slashTHREE.
International art collective slashTHREE launched her tenth exhibition, titled World Exhibition II. The release contains illustrations, photography, music and motion art.
“The variety of elements is astounding and almost unbelievable. Different people, different beliefs, different dreams, different hopes and different personalities. For slashTHREE’s tenth art release, we’d like to underline the harmonious result of those elements. Not the melting pot, but a beautiful mosaic of art pieces ranging from various cultures, religions and nationalities.”
Although this year’s TOCA ME Design Conference in Munich has already taken off, last year’s opening titles still deserve a bit of extra attention. The design was done by DVEIN, the sound by widely known Combustion. Enjoy.
